Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer in Harness & Interconnect to support the development, build, and verification of harnessing systems for the Precision Control Actuation System.

The role requires autonomous work at this grade with advanced knowledge of the harness/interconnect domain, strong design, test, and systems engineering. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years related experience with an advance degree.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously work with regular and periodic oversight in the harness and interconnect domain.
• Detail mechanical design, test design and execution, systems engineering, proposals and earned value management.
• Flex responsibilities based on the current needs of the organization and their respective skill sets.
