Job summary

RTX seeks a Systems Engineer for Precision Control Actuation Systems (PCAS) to derive system requirements, define mechanical outlines, and own data packages for multiple missile programs. Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree with 2+ years relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience in design or manufacturing of wire harnessing for military, aerospace, or commercial applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and derive system requirements.
• Define mechanical outline and construction details; select connectors and create mechanical drawings.
• Oversee electrical layout and perform first-order electrical analysis.
• Ensure cost, schedule, quality, and performance targets for the finished product.
• Collaborate with senior personnel across locations to coordinate activities.
• Develop technical solutions across the product lifecycle including integration and test of electronics and interconnect packaging.
