Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a mechanical design engineer to join the Harness and Interconnect group within the Precision Control Actuation System department. You will contribute to development, build, and verification of harnessing systems for tactical missile IPTs.

The role is onsite in Tucson; you will work with cross-functional teams, apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5, and contribute to proposals and estimates. DoD Secret clearance is required, active on day one.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering design experience.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous work with regular oversight and mentor to peers.
• Include detailed mechanical design, test design, and systems engineering.
• Support proposals, estimates and earned value management.
