Job summary

TCWGlobal is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead complex connected-device programs from concept through manufacturing and mass production. This individual will engage credibly with hardware and firmware engineers, manage risks, and drive programs with ODMs and overseas partners from EVT to launch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hardware technical program management or device program leadership.
• Experience taking products through EVT, DVT, PVT, NPI and mass production.
• Ability to engage credibly with hardware and firmware engineers.
• Experience with ODMs and contract manufacturers and overseas partners.
• Ability to influence teams and drive results without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware programs from concept through EVT, DVT, PVT, NPI, ramp, mass production and post-launch support.
• Own schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, actions, BOM readiness and material planning.
• Drive execution across hardware, firmware, RF, mechanical, industrial design, software, cloud, test and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in reviews, identify risks, challenge assumptions and drive issue resolution.
• Manage ODMs, contract manufacturers and overseas partners.
• Coordinate samples, testing, Alpha/Beta issues, build readiness and regulatory certification.
• Partner with PLM and stakeholders on roadmap and development planning.
• Improve product-development processes and overall program execution.
