Job summary

Lightmatter, Inc. is seeking a Staff/Sr Staff Technical Program Manager for the Hardware Systems team in Mountain View, CA. You will own the full hardware development lifecycle, drive schedules, resource planning, and cross‑functional alignment across electrical, mechanical, and system engineering.

You will work with SI, PI, software, supply chain, and external partners to keep programs on track from design through production, ensuring clear communication of status and risks to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of program management experience in hardware engineering.
• Experience coordinating with contract manufacturers (CMs) and ODMs.
• Strong track record managing concurrent hardware programs with shared resources.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated schedules across HW Systems projects and resolve resource conflicts.
• Facilitate cross‑functional alignment between HW Systems and other teams.
• Manage resource loading and capacity with engineering leads to flag overallocation risks.
• Build and maintain schedules reflecting EVT/DVT/PVT gates and dependencies.
• Coordinate material flow with supply chain to meet schedules.
• Track HW deliverable dependencies and unblock downstream teams with visibility.
• Interface with external contract manufacturers and fabricators for alignment and delivery.
• Represent HW Systems in program reviews and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Track budgets for engineering activities, prototypes, and tooling.
