Leoforce in Moberly, MO is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the design, development and validation of electronic control and monitoring circuitry for our mechatronics systems.

The role emphasizes hardware design (≈85%) and requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in PCB schematic capture and layout. On-site work five days a week with opportunities to contribute across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related engineering experience in electronic hardware design.
• Proficiency in PCB schematic capture and PCB layout is essential.
• Solid understanding of EMC/EMI and functional safety is required.
• Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle industries and embedded C/C++ programming are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical schematic capture and PCB design/layout using Altium.
• Perform hands-on testing, verification, and troubleshooting of designs.
• Ensure EMC/EMI and functional safety compliance.
• Support development of mechatronics products and production rollout.
• Collaborate with customers as needed; travel requirements are minimal.
