Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer - Hardware Design to architect, implement, and test PCBAs across power, analog, FPGA, and MCU domains. You will collaborate with engineers, PMs, technicians, and customers to deliver robust hardware solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 15+ years in electronics design, with deep expertise in digital/analog/mixed-signal

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 15+ years experience in electronics design and test from architecture through implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of digital/analog/mixed-signal electronics and interfaces.
• Experience with PCB design and troubleshooting of complex multi-layer cards.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and test PCBAs including power, analog, FPGA, and MCU designs.
• Perform signal integrity analysis and power distribution/network design.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, technicians, and customers to develop solutions.
• Troubleshoot board-level issues and identify corrective actions.
• Support manufacturing and test of deliverables and root-cause analysis.
