Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a senior hardware engineer to lead the full hardware design cycle for Platform Hardware. You will specify components, supervise schematic and PCB layout, oversee prototype bring-up, and drive validation testing with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end hardware design from concept to production.
• Hands-on PCB design, bring-up, debugging of PCBAs for hardware products.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Experience working with labs for prototyping, power analysis, and verification.
• Experience coordinating with factories and internal teams for production.

Responsibilities

• Own complete hardware design cycle including specification, selection, schematic entry, layout oversight, prototype bring-up, debug and validation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, signal integrity, product mgmt, software, operations and quality assurance.
• Provide factory support during engineering builds and production ramps.
