Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Hardware Product Manager to define and drive the evolution of our enterprise NGFW hardware portfolio. As a leader in the Network Security group, you will champion platform excellence across our physical hardware and enable large global customers to achieve strategic objectives through cutting‑edge deployments.

You will guide cross‑functional teams—Engineering, Technical Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance—own hardware specifications, lifecycle

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in hardware or enterprise platforms.
• 3+ years in security, networking, or related platform products.
• Deep understanding of ASIC/FPGA/CPU architectures and line-rate offloads.
• Experience defining hardware specs for enterprise platforms (L2/L3, PoE, Ethernet speeds).
• Proven ability to manage manufacturing partners, vendor timelines, and supply chain alignment.
• Strong ROI, forecasting and COGS optimization capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive hardware platform strategy across Switching, Routing, SD-WAN, and Security Appliances.
• Define hardware specifications and component selection with vendors.
• Translate market needs into clear product requirements and KPIs.
• Lead manufacturing partnerships and manage supply chain alignment.
• Define scale parameters like throughput, port density, latency.
• Leverage AI/telemetry to inform product decisions and improvements.
• Coordinate with partners for certifications (FIPS, Common Criteria, NEBS).
• Present quarterly reviews to executives and support GTM activities.
