Suna Solutions in Torrance, CA, is seeking a hands-on Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead board-level hardware design from concept to production. You will perform schematic capture, support PCB layout, and conduct SI/PI analyses for high-speed designs.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in hardware design, strong Altium skills, and experience with FPGA/processor-based designs, soldering, and troubleshooting. On-site role with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional hardware design experience.
• Strong hands-on with Altium Designer.
• High-speed digital and mixed-signal circuit design.
• PCB design, layout principles and hardware development.
• Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI).
• Experience debugging complex electronic hardware.
• Knowledge of video, networking, or high-speed interfaces.
• Familiarity with FPGA and processor-based designs.
• Soldering, board rework, and hands-on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead board-level hardware design and development from concept through production.
• Perform schematic capture and support PCB layout and design optimization.
• Conduct SI and PI analysis for high-speed designs.
• Design and develop mixed-signal and high-speed digital hardware.
• Support prototype assembly, board bring-up, testing, validation, and debugging.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root-cause analysis to resolve design problems.
• Participate in technical design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Prepare and maintain ECO/ECN changes, design specifications, and production release documentation.
• Support hardware verification, qualification, and compliance activities.
