Job summary

A2e Technologies is seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer to design and bring up high-speed digital boards, including DDR, FPGAs, and networking subsystems. This role requires hands-on lab work, test planning, and collaboration with engineering teams.

The candidate will work on verification methodologies, SI/PI analyses, and use tools such as Altium, Vivado, and HyperLynx to ensure robust hardware solutions for space-grade applications.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing high-speed digital boards (>1GHz) with DDR, FPGAs, Networking.
  • Proficient in Altium schematic capture.
  • Experience with EMC mitigation techniques and testing.
  • Signal integrity and power integrity analysis experience.
  • Board bring-up in a professional lab environment.
  • Knowledge of verification methodologies and space industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and bring up high-speed digital boards and systems.
  • Perform signal integrity and power integrity simulations and verifications.
  • Lead test planning, execution, and reporting of results.
  • Work in a professional laboratory with test equipment and probes.
  • Debug and identify root causes with detailed analysis and documentation.
