Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop mixed-signal hardware for Raytheon's Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter subsystems. You will work with systems, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to flow requirements, perform electrical analysis, and deliver hardware meeting program requirements.

The role emphasizes design trades, test planning, and transition to production, with opportunities to lead small projects and occasional travel within MA.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with design simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, LTSpice) and analytical tools (e.g., Matlab).
• Experience with design development tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics' Xpedition schematic capture and layout).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Circuit and sub-system architecture, design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
• Integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
• Transition to production and support to manufacturing and test engineers.
• Occasional travel to supplier, integration, and customer sites may be required.
• Opportunities to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility.
