Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Hardware Design Engineer to develop and produce Raytheon's Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter subsystems. You will design mixed-signal hardware, perform modeling and verification, and collaborate across engineering teams.

The role emphasizes circuit card assemblies, high-speed interfaces, and production readiness, with on-site work in MA locations and opportunities for leadership and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 10+ years of experience.
• Experience in Digital CCA Design including parts selection and schematic capture.
• PCB design with stackup, routing, and DRC verification.
• 10+ years as an electrical engineer developing digital/mixed-signal CCAs.
• Ability to obtain interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design mixed-signal hardware to support Raytheon products.
• Perform circuit and sub-system architecture, modeling, simulation, and verification.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, manufacturing engineers and other electrical engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and transition to production.
