Job summary

RTX, based in the United States, invites experienced engineers in Andover, MA to join our team and lead mechanical hardware design for radar and electronics packaging. You will guide design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure rigorous adherence to form, fit, and function across the full product lifecycle.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, domestic and international factories, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with relevant mechanical design experience.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation for hardware tooling.
• Experience with mechanical design and tooling processes.
• Ability to create and update engineering drawings in a CAD system.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative technical solutions across the product lifecycle for radars, support equipment, and electronics.
• Conduct tolerance analyses to verify form, fit, and function as designed.
• Lead small teams in ruggedized designs and coordinate with factories and suppliers.
• Support product integration and ensure requirements compliance domestically and internationally.
