Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for the Radar Digital Products Department in MA. You will design embedded processor boards, drive projects, and work with a team to translate system requirements into hardware solutions for military applications.

Expect to mentor junior engineers, lead small teams, and support design reviews, using tools like Mentor Xpedition and HyperLynx SI. Onsite roles at Te wksbury or Marlborough, MA are available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience implementing high speed memory (DDR) and high speed circuit designs (PCIe, 100GbE).
• Power Integrity/Signal Integrity analysis skills including HyperLynx SI.
• Experience fielding and test planning on processor- and FPGA-based boards.
• CAD tooling experience for complex circuit boards (Mentor Xpedition).
• Laboratory testing with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities
