Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Principal Hardware Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA. This onsite role leads next‑gen networking hardware design, requiring 10+ years of hands‑on experience with high‑performance boards, 100G/200G signaling, FPGA development, and advanced SI/PI analyses.

You will drive end‑to‑end architecture, collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, thermal and manufacturing teams, and work on liquid‑cooling systems to deliver production‑ready solutions for

Formación

• 10+ years of hands-on hardware/board design experience with complex, high-performance electronic systems.
• Experience designing high-speed 100G/200G-class signaling or comparable interfaces.
• Experience designing high-power, dense PCBs and electronic systems.
• Hands-on FPGA design experience and ability to implement FPGA-based solutions.
• Strong SI/PI knowledge and design verification.
• Experience with scale-up HPC, networking, AI/ML, accelerators, or similar architectures.
• Experience with liquid cooling systems and liquid-cooled hardware.
• Excellent cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end hardware design lifecycle from concept to production.
• Lead high-density, high-power circuit board design under tight constraints.
• Design systems with high-speed signaling at 100G/200G and beyond.
• Develop and review complex schematics, power architectures, clocking, interfaces.
• Design FPGA solutions and integrate with firmware/software.
• Perform SI/PI analysis and verify design integrity.
• Collaborate with thermal, mechanical, and software teams on liquid cooling architectures.
• Identify risks early and propose practical mitigation strategies.
