Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join our high-speed digital circuit design team in Roseville, CA. You will own complex hardware designs from schematics through bring-up and validation, focusing on signal integrity, power integrity, and system-level performance.

As a technical lead, you will mentor others, collaborate with cross-functional teams across layout, validation, and manufacturing, and help shape scalable, production-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in complex hardware design including high‑performance platforms.
• Deep expertise in digital and analog circuit design with architectural tradeoffs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with system-level focus.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Experience with high-speed design and signal integrity challenges.
• Hands-on measurement and validation of high-speed digital signals.
• Board-level design experience using Cadence tools (OrCAD/Allegro).

Responsibilities

• Lead and own complex hardware designs from schematic to validation.
• Drive high-speed digital design decisions at system level.
• Collaborate with layout, validation, manufacturing, and firmware teams.
• Influence margins, reliability through upfront analysis and validation.
• Perform root-cause analysis and empirical testing to set direction.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve design processes.
