Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Mission Defense Team (MDT) seeks a Hardware Assurance Engineer, Level 3, in Roy, UT to assess and prioritize hardware security threats for the GBSD program. The role requires a BS in STEM, DoD Secret clearance, 5 years in systems security engineering, and experience with MBSE, vulnerability management, and data dashboards.

You will work with stakeholders, contribute to program plans, review security assessments, and help ensure secure system architectures; relocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 5 years in defense systems.
• US Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance.
• 5 years applying Systems Security Engineering for DoD programs.
• Experience with MBSE concepts and tools.
• Ability to communicate technical approaches clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risk for hardware/firmware.
• Research data and derive facts on identified vulnerabilities.
• Participate in working groups and communicate risk with stakeholders.
• Contribute to hardware assurance program plans and milestones.
• Review security assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure secure architecture and integration of security systems.
• Support MDT with other duties.
