Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah seeks a Hardware Assurance Engineer to support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program within the Mission Defense Team. The role emphasizes hardware security assessments, threat analysis, and risk mitigation across hardware and firmware components.

US citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required. Experience with SSE, MBSE concepts, vulnerability analysis, and supplier data bases is preferred to help protect CPI and ensure secure system

Qualifications

• US citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience applying Systems Security Engineering to US Government Defense Programs.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical approaches and findings.

Responsibilities

• Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risks for hardware and firmware components.
• Research, analyze data, and derive facts on identified vulnerabilities.
• Participate in working groups and customer meetings to communicate risk with stakeholders.
• Contribute to hardware assurance program plans, goals, and milestones.
• Review security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigations.
• Ensure architecture and design are secure; support security system integration.
