Northrop Grumman is seeking a Hardware Assurance Engineer for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program in Roy, Utah. The role requires US citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.

You will assess threats, prioritize vulnerabilities, and ensure hardware security across complex systems. Responsibilities include vendor research, risk communication with stakeholders, and contributing to program protection efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with required experience levels
• Experience applying and understanding Systems Security Engineering principles for DoD programs
• Ability to communicate technical approaches and findings clearly and effectively
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and MBSE concepts/tools
• Security clearances and US citizenship requirements stated in the job ad

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze threats, vulnerabilities, and risk for hardware and firmware components
• Research data, derive facts, and communicate risk to stakeholders
• Participate in working groups and customer meetings; communicate risk environment clearly
• Contribute to hardware assurance program plans, goals, and milestones
• Review system security assessments and mitigate vulnerabilities
• Ensure secure architecture and integration of security systems and components
• Support MDT with other duties as assigned
