Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Hardware Assurance Engineer in Roy, UT, to assess and prioritize hardware security threats across the GBSD program. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and strong Systems Security Engineering expertise.

You will analyze threats, work with vendors, and help design secure hardware architectures while coordinating with MDT and stakeholders. Eligible candidates possess a STEM degree and extensive defense-program experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a STEM B.S. with multiple years’ experience in defense programs.
• Strong understanding of systems security engineering for hardware programs.
• Experience communicating technical findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risk for hardware/firmware components.
• Research data and derive facts on vulnerabilities.
• Participate in meetings to communicate risk with stakeholders.
• Contribute to hardware security program plans, goals, and milestones.
• Review security assessments and recommend mitigations.
• Ensure secure architecture and integration of security systems.
