Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Hardware Assurance Engineer to assess and prioritize hardware security threats within the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program. The role is based in Roy, UT, with some travel, and requires a DoD Secret clearance.

You will analyze threats, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to program plans for hardware security, including vulnerability management and system assurance across hardware and firmware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and minimum experience as described (see job postings).
• Experience with vulnerability management and a strong systems-security mindset.
• Ability to communicate technical approaches and findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience using MBSE concepts and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risk for hardware and firmware components.
• Research data and derive facts about identified vulnerabilities.
• Participate in working groups and customer meetings; communicate risk to stakeholders.
• Contribute to hardware assurance program plans, goals, and milestones.
• Review security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and suggest mitigations.
• Ensure architecture and design are secure; support security systems development and integration.
• Support MDT with other duties as assigned.
