Job summary

Amgen seeks a GxP Training Instructional Designer & Developer, Sr Manager, in Thousand Oaks, CA, with remote work options. You will design, develop, and govern training materials to ensure knowledge transfer, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness across GxP learning programs.

You will lead teams, partner with SMEs, create curricula and assessments, and drive continuous improvement in learning tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent with training experience.
• Experience managing people or teams (2+ years).
• Strong instructional design and regulatory training background.
• Ability to translate complex content into learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, blended-learning materials.
• Define learning objectives with SMEs and translate content clearly.
• Create curricula, facilitator guides, e-learning modules, and assessments.
• Apply adult-learning principles and accessibility practices.
• Ensure regulatory, quality, and audit-readiness for materials.
• Maintain version control and documentation history.
• Evaluate curriculum structure and learner progression.
• Align assessments with competencies and job expectations.
• Review feedback and data to improve learning effectiveness.
• Support learning-process transformation and governance.
• Identify opportunities to modernize learning processes.
