Job summary

Merck seeks an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to design, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions that support site training objectives and regulatory requirements. You will partner with SMEs, Quality, and stakeholders to assess learning needs, develop content, manage curriculum and LMS activities, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated GxP environment.

The ideal candidate brings instructional design, performance consulting, eLearning development, and curriculum

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design, technical writing, and facilitation.
• Hands-on experience with: Articulate 360
• Experience with Adobe Captivate and PowerPoint-based content development workflows.
• LMS publishing and packaging standards; LMS administration and curriculum management.
• Experience in performance consulting, including assessing business needs and identifying gaps.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led, digital, and eLearning training solutions.
• Partner with SMEs, Quality teams, and stakeholders to assess needs and recommend learning strategies.
• Develop and update eLearning content per site and global standards.
• Review and revise training materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Support LMS and curriculum management activities: assignments, updates, deployment, records.
