Disabled Job Seekers is seeking a senior Guidewire technical lead in Chicago to drive design, configuration, and integration of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter within a robust enterprise architecture. Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, configuring, developing, integrating, and supporting Guidewire applications in a Property and Casualty insurance environment.
• Hands-on experience with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
• Strong knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance concepts, workflows, and data.
• Expert knowledge of Guidewire configuration, development concepts, data models, rules, and UI.
• Experience with APIs, web services, messaging, plugins, and batch processing.
• Proficiency with Gosu, Java, SQL, XML, and web technologies.
• Experience with object-oriented design, multi-tier architectures, secure coding, and best practices.
• Experience with relational databases, data analysis, and query optimization.
• Ability to lead design discussions, review code, mentor engineers, and communicate decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical expert for Guidewire-based applications in P&C operations.
• Lead design, configuration, development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support for Guidewire apps.
• Translate business needs into secure, scalable Guidewire solutions with stakeholders.
• Provide technical direction, review designs, and promote best practices.
• Design and support integrations using APIs, web services, messaging, and batch processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Guidewire environments and integrations.
• Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents and validate stability after releases.
• Refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements with product teams.
• Implement Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices, including CI, automated testing, and deployment.
• Ensure configurations comply with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and release notes.
