Job summary

Disabled Job Seekers in Minneapolis, MN seeks an experienced Guidewire specialist to lead design, configuration, and deployment of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter within Property and Casualty insurance operations.

You will provide hands-on technical leadership, mentor engineers, collaborate with product owners and architects, and ensure solutions meet security, quality, and performance standards while embracing Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and supporting Guidewire applications in a Property and Casualty environment.
• Hands-on experience with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
• Strong knowledge of P&C concepts, workflows, and data (policy, underwriting, claims, billing).
• Expert Guidewire configuration and development concepts (data models, rules, workflows, UI extensions).
• Experience with Guidewire integration patterns (APIs, web services, messaging, batch processing).
• Proficiency with Gosu, Java, SQL, XML, and web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, development, integration, testing, implementation, and production support for Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter).
• Provide technical direction, coordinate development, review designs and code, promote best practices.
• Design and support integrations using APIs, web services, messaging, and batch processes.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and release validation.
• Mentor engineers and communicate platform decisions to stakeholders.
