Job summary

n8n is seeking a Senior Growth Engineer to ideate, build, and iterate product experiences that accelerate self-serve growth. You will own high-impact parts of the Cloud journey—from signup to billing—using experimentation, data, and product intuition to improve activation, retention, and monetization.

You will work closely with product, design, data, marketing, and engineering to ship features, measure outcomes, and iterate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Vue or React.
• Experience owning growth metrics: activation, retention, or revenue in a growth/PLG SaaS environment.
• Proven track record shipping experiments end-to-end.
• Product-minded with ability to operate without a PM and to talk to users for signal.
• Data fluency to query data and drive decisions from experiments.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a velocity-driven mindset.
• Speed and ownership mindset essential for growth at scale.

Responsibilities

• Ship high-impact experiments to improve activation and retention across onboarding and billing flows.
• Drive measurable outcomes by tracking ARR, retention, and growth KPIs.
• Scale growth systems such as in-app messaging, billing, and email orchestration.
• Own critical growth flows like signup, onboarding, and admin dashboards for a smooth user experience.
