Job summary

n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform redefining automation for AI-powered teams. A Senior Engineer on the Growth team will own core cloud experiences from signup to billing, shaping activation and retention through experiments and data-driven decisions.

You will work cross-functionally with product, design, data, and marketing to build scalable growth systems and ship high-impact features that move metrics and accelerate self-serve growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering with TS/JS, Node.js, and a frontend framework (Vue/React).
• Experience owning growth metrics (activation/retention/revenue) at a SaaS company.
• Implemented experiments from hypothesis through to ship/kill decision.
• Product-minded with ability to work without a PM and make sound calls.
• Strong data fluency to query data and interpret user behavior.

Responsibilities

• Ship high-impact experiments to improve conversion and retention (upgrade flows, prompts, pricing nudges).
• Drive measurable business outcomes for ARR and growth KPIs and iterate to improve activation.
• Scale growth systems like in-app messaging, billing, and email orchestration.
• Own critical flows (signup, onboarding, admin dashboard) for performance and smooth UX.
