Job summary

Mesquite Entertainment seeks an experienced Group Sales professional to secure and grow group bookings across Mesquite Gaming properties. You will target conference planners, tour operators, wholesalers, and ad hoc groups, conducting on-site inspections and promoting the full range of hotel and meeting amenities.

You must be a self-starter with outstanding communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks with deadlines and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with an outgoing personality and strong written/oral communication skills.
• Must present a professional appearance and handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends; travel out of town is required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, solicit, and book groups to maximize revenue for Mesquite Gaming properties.
• Promote properties to conference planners, tour operators, wholesalers and ad hoc groups; conduct on-site inspections.
• Maintain relationships with clients to generate repeat business.
