Job summary

Rio Las Vegas seeks an Executive Meetings Manager to drive group room nights and catering revenue across a defined market. You will solicit and close business using multiple development strategies while maintaining exceptional service in every interaction.

You will build relationships across meetings, conventions, trade shows, and intermediaries, manage RFPs, site inspections, and contract negotiations, and coordinate with services teams to ensure operational success.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of group or hospitality sales and/or administrative experience.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as business demands.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive group room nights and catering revenue for Dreamscape’s Rio Las Vegas.
• Solicit and close business through multiple business development strategies.
• Maintain exceptional customer service in every interaction.
• Build and maintain meetings, conventions, trade shows and intermediary relationships.
• Log and retrace customer activities in the Envision sales system; manage communications cadence.
• Generate and respond to RFPs, plan site inspections, and produce contracts and addenda.
• Negotiate contract language with legal counsel and hotel operations teams.
• Ensure seamless turnover of files to services teams for operational success.
• Attend pre-con meetings and maintain strong presence during on-site events.
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Travel domestically as required.
