Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a Group Sales Manager to drive group meetings, conferences, and social events across its hotels. You will manage inquiries, build client relationships, and coordinate all aspects of group blocks, BEOs, and catering needs from pre-planning to post-event follow-up.

The role requires strong sales instincts, ability to multitask under pressure, and a commitment to exceptional customer service to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in group sales for hotels.
• Strong event planning and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to group inquiries and route to appropriate sales staff.
• Directly sell and book SMERF groups and maintain group blocks.
• Prepare detailed event orders, rooming lists, and banquet requirements.
• Maintain accurate event documentation and post-event follow-ups.
• Conduct site visits and pre-con meetings; act as on-site client contact.
• Upsell restaurant, bar, and outlets; coordinate with culinary and operations.
• Ensure contract terms, attrition, deposits, and payments are correctly processed.
