Job summary

The role emphasizes customer relationships, operational excellence and strong leadership in a fast-paced logistics environment, with travel 40-50% and a focus on growth and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or two additional years of relevant work experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Six years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
• Five years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports required.
• Four years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• Three years or more leading teams in a LEAN work environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve operational issues with LEAN initiatives to strengthen team unity, goals and results.
• Manage customer accounts to meet performance metrics and identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure financial objectives are met and grow revenue for assigned accounts.
• Supervise and develop performance for assigned employees and maintain positive relations.
• Hire, train, supervise and coach direct reports and management team.
• Maintain a proactive safety program within the accounts to ensure a safe environment.
