Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc. is seeking a General Contractor Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up projects across Georgia and Alabama, from inception to completion. The role requires strong leadership, safety oversight, and coordination of multiple teams and stakeholders on-site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, OSHA 30, and experience with Procore, MS Office, and blueprint reading. Travel up to 75% is required to support projects in the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree or associate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance per OSHA and Marand safety plan.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, schedule and customer objectives.
• Lead weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors, vendors, and others as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety programs, and work rules.
• Maintain on-site field office and professional project appearance.
• Communicate with Construction Manager on financial, safety, progress, and quality matters.
• Coordinate subcontractor progress and update construction schedules with Project Manager.
• Ensure timely completion of layouts and original control lines.
