Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years in commercial construction, overseeing ground-up projects in healthcare, financial, and light industrial sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Construction OSHA 30 valid within last five years or ability to renew.
• Proficient in project reporting software, blueprint reading, and MS Office; knowledge of building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance and lead safety initiatives on site.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule targets.
• Conduct weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules.
• Maintain field reports, manage punch lists, and monitor subcontractor progress.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to update construction schedules and staffing.
• Ensure documentation, red-line drawings, and permits are up to date.
• Mentor other Superintendent levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
