Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced General Contractor Construction General Superintendent to lead ground-up projects across Georgia and Alabama.

The role requires managing a team in the field to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, 5+ years in commercial construction, and strong leadership and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years in commercial construction, overseeing ground-up projects in healthcare, financial, and light industrial sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
• OSHA 30 within 5 years or ability to renew.
• Proficient in project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance (OSHA and company policies) as a top priority.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Conduct weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare and distribute field reports (daily, safety, etc.).
• Monitor subcontractor progress to meet project timeline and budget.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on construction schedules and input.
