Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects across healthcare, financial, and light-industrial sectors.

You will enforce safety standards, supervise field teams, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure schedule adherence and quality. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or higher, OSHA-30, and 5–10 years’ on-the-job experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years in commercial construction overseeing ground-up healthcare, financial, and light industrial projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with multi-team management.
• OSHA 30 within last five years or renewal capability.
• Proficiency in project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Proactive, results-oriented problem-solving and decision-making.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance (OSHA and Marand safety plan) as a top priority.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule objectives.
• Lead weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to project procedures, safety programs, and work rules.
• Maintain health and safety of workers per company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Prepare and distribute field reports daily and track punch lists in Procore.
• Monitor subcontractor progress and ensure adequate manpower for schedule.
