Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five+ years of experience in commercial construction overseeing ground-up projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
• Construction OSHA 30 within last 5 years or ability to renew.
• Proficiency in project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Travel up to 75% as required.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance and advocate for safety as the top priority.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule goals.
• Conduct weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
• Enforce project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules.
• Maintain health and safety compliance per company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Prepare and distribute field reports (daily, safety, etc.).
• Manage subcontractors' progress and ensure adequate manpower for schedule.
• Assist in subcontractor work scheduling and input to Project Manager.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on layouts and initial control lines.
• Provide documentation and coordinate with Construction Manager.
• Participate in pre-construction planning and project estimates.
• Maintain up-to-date contract documents on site.
• Ensure red-line drawings are kept by subcontractors.
• Maintain on-site field office and professional site image.
