Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking a Superintendent to lead delivery of ground-up commercial projects on an on-site basis. You will oversee field operations, coordinate with owners, architects, and trade partners, and drive safety and quality on site.

This role handles projects typically in the $30M+ range, demanding strong leadership, scheduling, and proven ability to manage complex teams from start to finish in a fast-paced environment with aggressive schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial general contracting.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• OSHA knowledge and commitment to jobsite safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily field operations and site activities.
• Manage subcontractors, site logistics, and construction sequencing.
• Maintain project schedules, safety standards, and quality control.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, manpower, and field coordination.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts in collaboration with project teams and trade partners.
• Lead jobsite safety initiatives and maintain an organized, productive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Drive schedule performance and ensure milestone completion.
