Job summary

Marand Builders Inc is seeking a dynamic General Contractor Construction Superintendent with ground-up and renovation experience in large-scale retail projects. The candidate will oversee ground-up work, interior renovations, and relocations, coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders across a 2M+ valuation scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial construction, supervising ground-up projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage multiple teams.
• OSHA 30 within last 5 years (or ability to renew).
• Proficiency in project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites (up to 75%).

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance and lead safety program adherence on site.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, schedule, and client goals.
• Lead weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure project procedures, safety programs, and work rules are followed.
• Manage health and safety of workers per company guidelines.
• Prepare daily field reports and safety documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractor progress to meet schedule and expectations.
• Assist in pre-construction planning and develop construction schedules.
• Maintain up-to-date contract documents on site.
• Maintain site cleanliness and organization.
