The ideal candidate holds a construction management degree or equivalent, with 5+ years in commercial construction, OSHA 30, and a proven ability to manage safety, schedule, and quality while coordinating subcontractors and travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five+ years in commercial construction overseeing ground-up projects in healthcare, financial, and light industrial sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams, subs, and stakeholders.
• OSHA 30 within last 5 years or ability to renew.
• Proficiency with project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Travel up to 75% and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance per OSHA and company policies.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule goals.
• Conduct weekly on-site meetings with subs, vendors, and others regarding schedule and safety.
• Oversee health and safety of workers and enforce guidelines.
• Prepare field reports (daily, safety, etc.).
• Monitor subcontractor progress to meet project timelines and budget.
• Coordinate subcontractor work schedules with Project Manager.
