Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Ground System Fluid Mechanical Engineer III to design and build advanced test facilities for space propulsion testing. You will drive the development of interrelated subsystems, ensure safety, and oversee installation and commissioning of new stand facilities.

Join a hard‑working team of engineers and project managers, mentor engineers, and lead technical decisions for cryogenic and pneumatic fluid systems while coordinating with program management to align solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in fluid/mechanical systems or test operations.
• Experience leading technical teams on complex projects.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, BPVC, IEST-STD-CC1246 and aerospace fluid specs.

Responsibilities

• Guide and develop new test systems with multiple subsystems.
• Serve as systems architect for complex ground test operations.
• Coordinate design reviews and manage suppliers (cost, schedule, tech).
• Lead hazard assessments and risk mitigation for test operations.
