Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Ground System Fluid/Mechanical Engineer II to design and test fluid and mechanical systems for ground test facilities, contributing across the system lifecycle from SRR to PAR. You will develop P&IDs, drawings, and analyses under senior guidance, applying fluid mechanics and structural analysis to cryogenic and high‑pressure gas systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0-3 years Level1 Manufacturing Engineer, 3+ years Level2, 5+ Level3, 8+ Sr per job posting.
• Foundational knowledge of fluid mechanics, structural analysis, and system integration.
• Knowledge of valve, regulator, pump components for cryogenic, propellant and high‑pressure gas systems.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of fluid and mechanical systems for ground test facilities across the lifecycle.
• Create and release P&IDs, models, drawings, eBOMs, and analyses under guidance.
• Apply fluid mechanics and structural analysis to high‑pressure gas and cryogenic systems.
