Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead grid modelling and compliance activities for renewable generation and HVDC projects. You will perform power system studies using PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD and ASPEN Oneliner, and coordinate modeling efforts with OEMs and engineering firms.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, 5+ years of experience, and travel up to 15%. The position is based in Denver, CO with on-site or hybrid arrangements as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in power system studies (power flow, transient stability, EMT, short circuit).
• Experience with PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN Oneliner and HVDC modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead grid studies for renewable generation, battery energy storage, and HVDC modeling.
• Develop power system models using PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN Oneliner.
• Coordinate modeling with OEMs and engineering firms; support interconnection studies.
