Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator for the Voices for Healthy Kids team. This home-based role coordinates complex, multi-million-dollar grant-funded operations across strategy, finance, compliance, and operations.

You will translate programmatic goals into actionable budgets, systems, and processes, monitor grant spend, ensure timely deliverables, and lead a team as needed in this dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Strong skills in budgeting, grant management, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into program management and maintains records.
• Coordinates program budget development with leadership and funder expectations.
• Monitors budgets and expenditures, analyzes financial activity, and provides variance reporting.
• Collaborates with finance, legal, operations, development, and other teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Develops internal systems and documentation for audit readiness and program management.
• Acts as Voices technology coordinator to optimize systems supporting grantmaking and reporting.
• Builds relationships with internal teams, partners, and grantees to enable collaboration.
• Leads or contributes to cross-functional initiatives and project teams.
