The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Research Management Services (RMS) is seeking a Sr. Grants & Contracts Analyst to manage sponsored funds across pre- and post-award activities, including proposal preparation, budgeting, accounting, and reporting, ensuring compliance and timely execution.

This role handles moderately to highly complex grants and contracts, coordinating with faculty, ORA, SPSS, and central finance, and will lead award setup, closeouts, and post-award processes while upholding

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years of related experience in sponsored research or financial positions.
• Equivalency options may substitute for experience/education per policy.
• Experience with pre-award and post-award processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of NIH, NSF, DOD and NASA guidelines is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee complex award management activities including monitoring, audits, evaluations and reporting.
• Collaborate with faculty and ORA/SPSS to plan and develop grant submissions to agencies and sponsors.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and sponsor guidelines in pre-award activities.
• Review proposals for accuracy and adherence to guidelines prior to signature.
• Lead timely budget preparation and liaison with research units and funding agencies.
• Manage post-award processes including setup, reconciliation, and closeout documentation.
