Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years of related sponsored research/financial experience.
• Experience with NIH/NSF/DOD/NASA guidelines and sponsor compliance.
• Knowledge of award/account management, budgets, and closeout processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex award management activities including monitoring, audits, and reporting.
• Coordinate with faculty and ORA on submissions and guidance for sponsor guidelines.
• Prepare timely budgets for PI review and ensure accuracy of content.
• Serve as liaison between research units, central offices and funding agencies.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, internal protocols, and COI policies.
• Maintain updates on current awards with regular audits and financial status reporting.
• Manage post-award processes including award setup, cost transfers, and finalization of subcontract paperwork.
• Assist with closeouts as needed.
