Job summary

The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Research Management Services (RMS) is seeking a Sr. Grants & Contracts Analyst, Post-Award to manage sponsored funds, including pre- and post-award functions, budgets, invoicing and reporting.

This role handles complex awards and will collaborate with ORA, SPSS, and central finance. The successful candidate will ensure compliance, timely budgeting, account maintenance and closeout support across departments, while coordinating with faculty and leadership as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; four years related experience in sponsored research or financial positions.
• Experience with research administration programs and sponsor guidelines preferred.
• Completion of the Research Administration Training Program (13-15 months) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex award management activities including monitoring and reporting.
• Support pre-award and post-award functions like budget development, invoicing and closeout.
• Coordinate with ORA, SPSS, and central finance on submissions and compliance.
• Review proposals for accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
