Job summary

Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is seeking a Senior Sponsored Programs Administrator in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. This role oversees subawards, subcontracts, and consulting agreements and handles proposal preparation and award administration in a collaborative academic setting.

The position offers a starting salary range of $49,120–$57,364, commensurate with experience, with a hybrid work environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Four years of research administrative experience or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Sub-Recipient/Contractor Administration: Manage the coordination and administration of outgoing subawards, subcontracts, and consulting agreements and their amendments.
• Proposal and Award Preparation: Guide proposal preparation including budgets and sponsor guidelines; monitor proposals; assist in Just-In-Time submissions; set up awards.
• Supervisory and Mentoring Duties: May supervise students, conduct performance evaluations, and mentor entry-level Sponsored Programs Administrators.
• Other Duties: Represent the department and University on committees and at meetings; perform other duties as required.
