Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Sr. Management Analyst in the Neighborhood Services Department/ Administrative Financial Services Division to oversee financial and budgetary aspects of federal grant programs.

This role supervises 3 staff, manages purchasing and grant draws and reimbursement, and coordinates with HUD program staff and upper leadership to ensure compliance and timely reporting. The position supports development of annual budgets, prepares statements, dashboards, and briefings

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Four years of experience analyzing processes, procedures, operations, or methods including budget/financial management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial and budgetary activities and annual budget development.
• Manage CDBG and other grant program financials, HUD reporting; coordinate with HUD staff and leadership.
• Prepare grant reimbursement requests and reports for CDBG, CSBG, and others.
• Prepare financial forecasts, identify budget overruns and opportunities to increase revenue or reduce expenses.
• Monitor grant expenditures; prepare dashboards and briefings for senior management.
• Oversee staff managing procurement, purchasing, and grant draws/reimbursement.
• Direct, coordinate and review work plans; assign tasks; resolve problems.
• Implement new systems and procedures; monitor progress; design surveys; analyze data.
