Job summary

City of Dallas is seeking a Management Analyst to support budget, administrative, and management functions across departments. The role involves data analysis, reporting, grant administration, and process improvement to help the city operate efficiently.

You will work with multiple stakeholders, prepare budget changes, monitor expenditures, and present findings to management. A bachelor’s degree and several years of analysis experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/public administration, statistics, or social science.
• Three (3) years of professional level experience in policy/program/process analysis and improvement initiatives.
• Ability to analyze budgets and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, evaluates, and reviews budgets and expenditures for programs, projects, grants, and departments; prepares and reviews personnel actions, budget changes, accounting activities, and other administrative functions; ensures compliance with various City policies and procedures.
• Researches, organizes, analyzes data for special projects and planning; develops recommendations and presents reports to management and agencies.
• Evaluates operations, provides statistical analysis, and collaborates with departments on process improvement.
• Drafts, prepares, and submits grant applications; monitors compliance and prepares funding reports; maintains records.
• Attends meetings, manages notices, and provides ongoing analysis to foster city goals and standards.
